 Eric Rigby, CPA/PFSOwner & Principal  Eric Rigby is a Louisiana native with more than 15 years of experience in accounting, tax services, business consulting, dispute resolution, financial planning and wealth management. Prior to forming Rigby Financial Group, he gained extensive experience with global accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP, as well as a large New Orleans CPA firm.On a daily basis, Eric personally oversees all Rigby Financial Group core services, particularly in the areas of business consulting and corporate finance, dispute resolution/forensic accounting, personal financial planning and wealth management. His personal business philosophy: "I focus my enthusiasm, energy, financial knowledge and communication skills on creating solutions that anticipate future needs — giving clients the confidence to live balanced, harmonious lives today."Eric is a 1985 accounting graduate of Louisiana State University, became a licensed CPA in 1989, and attained the Personal Financial Specialist designation in 1997. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Tax Section, Personal Financial Planning Section, Litigation Consulting Section, Private Companies Practice Section Executive Committee [2007-2010]); Louisiana State Society of Certified Public Accountants; Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; New Orleans Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; National Association of Forensic Economics; American Academy of Economic and Financial Experts; and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. In addition, he teaches AICPA-sponsored courses on building a firm, and stays abreast of current financial issues and trends by logging more than 100 hours of continuing education each year.
