Submit Quicken or QuickBooks Files
To have us review your Quicken or QuickBooks files as part of a tax planning or tax return preparation engagement, follow these steps:
  1. Open Quicken or QuickBooks. From the “File” menu, click on “Backup.”
  2. Back up the file(s) you wish to send us to your “C” drive.
  3. Launch your e-mail program; open a new mail window; type in our e-mail address (erigby@therigbygroup.com) and the following subject line: ACCOUNTING FILES ATTACHED
  4. Click the proper button to ATTACH or INSERT files to your e-mail.
  5. Find the location of the backup file(s) you just saved to your “C” drive.
  6. Select the backup file(s) and click on “Attach” or “Insert.”
  7. Make sure all of the files you wish to send are attached.
  8. Click on “Send” to e-mail the files to us. (You may wish to “CC” your own e-mail address to remind yourself of the date on which you submitted files.)
