Quicken or QuickBooks Files
To have us review your Quicken or QuickBooks files as part of a
tax planning or tax return preparation engagement, follow these
steps:
- Open Quicken or QuickBooks. From the “File” menu,
click on “Backup.”
- Back up the file(s) you wish to send us to your “C”
drive.
- Launch your e-mail program; open a new mail window; type in
our e-mail address (erigby@therigbygroup.com)
and the following subject line: ACCOUNTING FILES ATTACHED
- Click the proper button to ATTACH or INSERT files to your e-mail.
- Find the location of the backup file(s) you just saved to your
“C” drive.
- Select the backup file(s) and click on “Attach” or
“Insert.”
- Make sure all of the files you wish to send are attached.
- Click on “Send” to e-mail the files to us. (You may
wish to “CC” your own e-mail address to remind yourself
of the date on which you submitted files.)
